About Jade

Hi, I’m Jade. I am a clinical psychologist practicing via telehealth, seeing adolescents and adults from across Australia.

I have worked as a psychologist for the past five years. Prior to that, I have worked in mental health and support services for almost a decade. During my time as a psychologist, I have worked in private practice, research and multiple public health services. I have supported children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health challenges.

My clinical focus is supporting adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders, including body-focused repetitive behaviours (such as skin picking and hair pulling). I also really enjoy supporting adolescents and young adults with their mental health broadly, as they navigate that transitional life stage.

While these are my focus areas, I also support people experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges.

I can help with the following:

  • Anxiety (generalised, health, social, perinatal)

  • Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD)

  • Body-focused repetitive behaviours (e.g., skin picking, hair pulling)

  • Phobias

  • Panic attacks

  • Body image difficulties

  • Disordered eating patterns

  • Adolescent mental health

  • Young adult mental health

  • Life changes and transitions

  • Adjustment difficulties

  • Emotion-regulation difficulties

  • Self-esteem difficulties

  • Stress, burnout and overwhelm

  • Depression

I care a lot about the therapy relationship and ensuring clients feel heard and understood. Often people feel a lot of hesitation about seeing a psychologist. I aim to create a compassionate and non-judgmental online therapy space. I also care that therapy feels effective and worthwhile. To do this I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches to best suit the person in front of me.

I recognise that every person is different, so sessions are always individualised. The approaches I most commonly draw upon include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment (ComB), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Imagery Rescripting.

I have a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology. My AHPRA registration is PSY0002485558.
