Fee Information

The session fee is $245 for a 50-55 minute psychology session.

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, the current Medicare rebate is $149.05 per session, bringing your out-of-pocket cost to $95.95.

An MHCP provides eligible individuals with up to 10 Medicare-rebated sessions per calendar year.

You do not need a referral or a MHCP to see a psychologist. However if you wish to recieve Medicare rebates then you will need a MHCP or other care plan from your GP.

Private health insurance rebates may be applied to session fees, depending on the individual's cover level.

Private health insurance and Medicare rebates cannot be applied to the same session fee.

Note, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee is $330 for a standard consultation, and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) recommended fee is $340. The fees for this practice are intentionally set below these recommendations.

Reduced fee options are also available based on financial hardship or student status. Please contact Jade to discuss these options further.
